After studying History of Art and Film, Adam founded the company to offer a service that goes beyond run-of-the-mill production values. Creating visual rhythm and ambiance is Adam’s forté, and as Lead Editor he meticulously fine-tunes video to his exacting standards.
He understands the powerful interplay between creativity and business, and consistently delights clients with top-notch service and dazzling visual results. He regularly works on commercials, social video and campaign content for global brands and NGOs.
Emma holds a first class languages degree from the University of Cambridge, and uses her linguistic ability to help our clients express their businesses with originality.
Her recent portfolio includes consulting, writing and directing within finance, consumer technology, local government, education and the third sector. One of her main skills is clarifying complex information for any audience…and making it interesting.

Colin is an award-winning director of photography and cinematographer from London. He likes to tell stories, communicate ideas, capture moments and create experiences with moving pictures – often with a high-speed element.
His broad shooting experience spans films, commercials, music videos and documentaries. A keen scriptwriter – Colin believes film is a truly versatile, captivating medium that he is proud and excited to have as his vocation.
Chris draws on a huge range of influences to inform his work. He’s an accomplished songwriter, novelist, poet, playwright and rap enthusiast, though his main passion is film. He’s spent over a decade making them, inspired by Stanley Kubrick, Federico Fellini and Ingmar Bergman, along with Chris Cunningham and Michel Ghondry.
Chris has also travelled extensively in Botswana, Colombia, Italy, Cuba, New Zealand, Vietnam and India. He has a degree in English from the University of Southampton.
Matthew is a master of Da Vinci Resolve and has worked on a number of award-winning short films and music videos. In the corporate sphere, he’s coloured video for brands such as TNT, Joules, Virgin, Unilever, the NHS and the Royal College of Nursing. Dedicated to his craft, Matthew regularly delivers training workshops to private clients and has taught colour grading at the Central Film School in London for the last three years.
Katie launched into the world of film after completing her degree in Media Makeup. With a quietly enormous knowledge base, she works confidently to bring out the best in every subject.
With unstoppable enthusiasm, Katie has enjoyed working with a huge range of clients over the years. She’s recognised as being hardworking and reliable, as well as consistently producing a high standard of work.
Her real passion lies in gory prosthetics, and one of her favourite ever shoots was working alongside legendary Hollywood prosthetic artist Cliff Wallace.
Tom is a visual effects maestro with extensive technical and design background.
Since gaining his first class degree in visual effects he’s been commended by The Foundry, named in several 3D publications and nominated for industry awards. He’s experienced in managing the entire VFX pipeline, from creative input to final compositing.
Chris has worked in specialist IT for 15 years, with training from Microsoft, Netapp, VMVare, Infoblocks, Citrix and Cisco. He’s currently a cloud consultant specialising in data integrity and hyper-converged computing solutions.
Chris has vast experience. He’s been commissioned by 75 of the FTSE 100 companies, including nine of the top ten. His expertise covers identifying issues, consulting, designing and deploying customised solutions to solve global and business-critical computing issues.
At The Video Alchemists, he’s responsible for building and maintaining our bespoke server setup as well as consulting on the technical side of video deployment for our clients.
Rufus is our loyal giant continental assistant. He is extremely intelligent and listens gladly to our ramblings and acts as a brilliant sounding board for creative ideas. He can usually be found snoozing near a desk. Dried pineapple or sunflower seeds are always welcome when helping with late-night editing and colour grading sessions.
